So why is our class name ‘La Vida’ you may ask? It has to do with John 14:6 where “Jesus said, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and THE LIFE. No one comes to the Father except through me’” (ESV). ‘La Vida’ translated into English, means ‘The Life,’ and it is our goal as a class to develop an intimate relationship with the Creator of the Universe while we also desire to impact others for His glory. And ‘La Vida’ is representative of our global impact as we are given opportunities everyday to reach people for Christ within our own community as well as beyond its borders.
