Come and See... What do you want from God?

After Jesus miraculously fed the 5,000, the crowds followed closely after Him. But Jesus saw their hearts and knew that they were seeking provision from Him, rather than the salvation offered by Him. So Jesus confronted them with the truth of Who He is, saying "I am the bread of life." And in doing so, He also confronted them with the truth of their unbelief. Reading this account in John 6, we should ask, what do we want from God? And do we believe that Jesus is Who He said He is?

From Series: "Come and See"

Throughout the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), Jesus continually invites people into a relationship with Him: Come all you who are weary and burdened, come… those who are thirsty, come… those who are hungry, etc. Throughout this series, we will be looking at some of the invitations of Jesus where He invites us to come and see what a relationship with Him looks like. We hope that this series is an encouragement to you. Also, during this series, we are encouraging everyone in the church to have a similar mindset of invitation as Philip did in John 1. When Nathaniel had doubts and questions about Jesus, Philip just invited him to Jesus by saying, “come and see.” So we would love for you to pray and invite others to experience Jesus.
