ALYSE SWARTZ

Alyse was born in Grand Rapids and has attended North Park for most of her life. While attending Moody, she met Jarrod, and they were married in 2008. She graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 2009 with a degree in Youth Ministry and Bible. Together, she and Jarrod have two daughters, two dogs, two cats, and a tank full of fish. Alyse loves student ministry because of its impact on her life as a teenager. She also enjoys doing anything outside, a nice bonfire, baking, reading, hunting, listening to Jarrod make jokes, and spending time with her family.
What is one thing people don’t know about you?
McDonald’s Apple Pies are my guilty pleasure.
What is your idea of a perfect day?
Early fall morning, a cup of coffee, a good hunt, a hike out in the woods with Jarrod, the girls, and our dogs, and ending the day with family, friends, BBQ, live music, and an ice-cold La Croix.
Who is someone you admire?
My mom. She has been through many different trials in her life and has been an example of what steadfast faith and trust in Jesus look like. Not only has she endured, but she has had hope and joy through it all. I hope one day when I grow up I can be like her.
