ANDY DOANE
PASTOR OF FAMILY DISCIPLESHIP
Andy began serving as the Children’s Ministries Director in August of 2022. He graduated from Grace College with a degree in Elementary Education. Prior to starting at North Park, he served as a children’s pastor and worship leader for 13 years. In 2023, the church called him to become Pastor of Family Discipleship. Andy and his wife Becky have five kids, a beagle, and a goldfish. Andy enjoys creating and sharing materials to teach kids about the Bible, which you can find at www.eatyourbible.com.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB?
I absolutely love teaching the Bible to kids. God’s great big book is filled with amazing true tales of God rescuing his people over and over again. Excitedly sharing God’s good news story with young disciples is a great privilege!
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MOVIE?
Interstellar. It’s so long, but so good!. The soundtrack is fantastic. Every time I finish it, I feel like I’ve just completed an epic journey.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
One of my favorite things is to get to see kids experience the stories of the Bible for the first time, to see them shocked at the amazing things our God has done to rescue his people.
