Come to Me... and I Will Quench Your Thirst

In John chapter 7, it is recorded that Jesus stood up on the greatest day of the Feast of Tabernacles and proclaimed, "Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them." (vs.37b-38, NIV) In today's message, Pastor Phil looks at the things in life we try to turn to in order to satisfy our souls, and reminds us of Jesus' open invitation to come to Him and drink.

Scripture References: John 7:37-46

From Series: "Come and See"

Throughout the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), Jesus continually invites people into a relationship with Him: Come all you who are weary and burdened, come… those who are thirsty, come… those who are hungry, etc. Throughout this series, we will be looking at some of the invitations of Jesus where He invites us to come and see what a relationship with Him looks like. We hope that this series is an encouragement to you. Also, during this series, we are encouraging everyone in the church to have a similar mindset of invitation as Philip did in John 1. When Nathaniel had doubts and questions about Jesus, Philip just invited him to Jesus by saying, “come and see.” So we would love for you to pray and invite others to experience Jesus.
