PASTOR EMERITUS

Tom Rohrer retired in 2020 after serving on North Park’s pastoral staff in various capacities for 25 years. He graduated from Grand Rapids Baptist Theological Seminary with M.DIV and MRE degrees. In his retirement, Tom is still serving as an Elder and active in ministry at North Park. Tom and his wife Connie married in the spring of 2015 following both of their spouses entering the presence of the Lord. Their blended family includes Tom’s family, Michelle (Chris) Weeks, Sherilyn (Joel) Shaffer, and Connie’s family, Brenda (Wesley) Woods and Christy (Rick) Howard and 18 grandchildren. Tom treasures time spent with his wife and family and friends. He also enjoys bicycling, real estate investing, and reading and discussing topics such as leadership, theology, ministry, adventure, health, finance, and politics. Tom’s passion is to humbly serve God and the household of faith. The guiding verse of his life is 1 Corinthians 15:58 – Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
